Eric Walters lives in Mississauga, Ontario, with his wife two kids and his pets. Eric wrote this book because it was important to continue the adventure of the characters through the 1st and 2nd book and into the next round of their adventures. For some odd reason, Eric decided that it would be a good idea to write a few other books while he wrote The Will To Survive. In the end it was a great choice because the book turned out to be great! When Eric was writing this book, he lived his normal life, kept teaching his fifth grade class. Living in Ontario was a good idea because everyone is nice to each other; so if you need some peace and quiet, you will get some. I believe that this book was written to show how people will act if there was a midlife crisis. If Eric was a character in the book he would be Herb, because he is old, knows a lot of things most people don't. Also I think that Eric is Herb in the book because Herb is one of the main characters in the book, and nine times out of ten you will picture yourself as the main character. Also i’m thinking that the car that herb owns before everything goes south is the same car in the book. I think that Eric could be Adam, because Eric could be writing about himself when he was a young boy, because Adam is pretty much the head of the teens and some of the adults too. I also think that Eric could be Adam in the story because Adam does a lot of heroic actions; and maybe it is because Eric, as a kid, played pretend in these situations like Adam in the book.
